I was able to acheive larger images with better contrast, without the graininess of film. The sensitive CCD allows two more steps above ISO 1600, equivalent to 3200 and 6400, respectively.

This section includes some of my first attempts as well as better images after some practice, and terrestrial sky photos. I enjoy the challenge of capturing the beautiful open and globular star clusters.
Images listed as taken at f/6.3 are through the LX90 using a Field Flattener/Focal Reducer.
Images listed as taken at all other ratios used a general purpose 28-80mm zoom lens.
